Apply step 2 (fertilizer and broadleaf weed killer) This step is different than the others. It should be applied to a wet lawn. The goal is to make the granules stick to the leaves of the weeds so the weed killer can work. Either water the lawn BEFORE application, or apply early in the day before the dew dries. Do not water after or you'll wash the weedkiller off.
